Washington Wizards

The Washington Wizards have one NBA championship in franchise history, won in 1978 when the team was known as the Washington Bullets. Led by legends including Wes Unseld and Elvin Hayes, Washington defeated the Seattle SuperSonics in seven games, with Unseld earning Finals MVP honours. The Bullets returned to the Finals in 1979, making them the only team to appear in the NBA Finals four times during the 1970s. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}
