About us - Immortals Trading Cards Australia.

Immortals Trading Cards established in early 2026 and founded by brothers Mark & Michael. The shared love for the trading card community meant a huge decision was to be made upon selling of our previous business "newsXpress Seven Hills & the Funporium".

Moving on from a newsagency channel was a big step away from what we knew with our 30 year history in that industry. The Funporium was a means to expand into the online world and once again get back into the trading card industry.

We made the decision to sell this business and create something brand new and fresh. A new challenge and a whole new definitive ideology. Thus Immortals Trading Cards was born. We chose a Viking related theme due to a shared love for the culture, time period and general vibe. No we aren't Vikings. Yes we are Australian. Sometimes the gimmick can just be fun.

Our personal histories.

Mark - The first business venture of solo ownership was when he was very young and dived right into the trading card world with his business running out of Castle Hill Mall. This was before the internet was such a huge marketplace and influence and was a simpler time, attracting customers who shared a common bond, trading cards.

 Magic the Gathering nights were some highlights still remembered 30 years ago and taught Mark a lot about the market and saw rise to some of the biggest franchises like MTG and Pokemon.

 His knowledge of trading cards and sports in general is strong, his lifelong commitment to the trading card community has built a reputation that can be trusted in the marketplace.

Michael - The younger brother who joined the newsagency business after coming out of high school. Michael was the driving force behind the online expansion of the newsagency business "The Funporium" and had a lot to learn about websites and ecommerce in a very short time due to COVID. The pandemic created a significant need to expand into an online market to reach new customers due to lock downs and downtrends in business.

 
This shared partnership utilizes the strengths of both brothers and combines the passions for the trading card world into a very strong unit devoted to the trading card community as a whole. Immortals Trading Cards looks forward to helping you complete collections and bring out the enjoyment in collecting that we have all personally shared for decades.
